I was introduced to photography in the fall of 1992, when, after spending a year at the Savanna College of Art and Design, I enrolled in my first photography class at Ocean County College. In 1995, after receiving my Associates Degree from OCC, I decided to take a class at the International Center of Photography, in New York City. I studied, photo journalism at ICP and also briefly worked there as a teacher's assistant. While at ICP, I also did a series of internships, including one for Todd Eberlie, one for Travel & Leisure Magazine and one at Studio 59, at Chelsea Piers. They were all incredible learning experiences, that not only afforded me, exposure to a variety of different photographic techniques and styles, they also afforded me access to amazing photo studios, that I was then able use to do model testing for Next Model Management and Boss Models. Soon after, in 1998, I enrolled at Rutgers University, in Brunswick, NJ, where 3 years later, In 2001, I earned my degree in fine arts. It was truly, an extra-ordinary time for me and probably, one of the best decisions I ever made. The summer after graduation, I was honored to accept an amazing position, at the world renown, architectural firm, Kohn Pederson Fox PC. I was hired at KPF, to submit an AIA (American Institute of Architects) competition submission, for the Espirito Santo Plaza, an elegant, 36 story building in the heart of downtown Miami. I not only learned a lot about architecture there, the submission I prepaired helped win us, the 2001, AIA, NYC Chapter, Project Design Award Citation. Later, in 2005, I took a new job at Mondani Handbags, where I would go on to photograph, a series of look books and advertising campaigns, that were later seen in, Accessories Magazine and Women's Wear Daily. Up to now, I believe, my greatest fortune as a photographer, has come from the many incredible opportunities to travel, I have been afforded. I have been able to explore and appreciate, more than 20 countries in the world, in a way, many are not able to. I have, had all sorts of adventures, all of which have been life altering, all of which have taught me many things and all of which, I will always be grateful for.
